51100 Metric Thrust Ball Bearing Series
The 51100 Metric Thrust Ball Bearing is an interchange for an industry standard bearing. It supports axial loads in a single direction. It features an open, separable, 3-piece design with round groove raceways. The balls are held in by a steel ball retainer/retaining ring (also known as a “cage”).
The 51100 Thrust Ball Bearing is available in metric sizes ranging from 10 mm (0.394 inch) to 400 mm (15.748 inch) bore diameter (A); 24 mm (0.945 inch) to 480 mm (18.898 inch) outside diameter (B); and 9 mm (0.354 inch) to 65 mm (2.559 inch) height (H).

Mounting Instructions: Generally installed with the fitted bore A centered on the shaft and rotating with it. The clearance bore A’ seats against a fixed part of the machine and remains stationary. If installed in a recess, a clearance of 1/8th of an inch, or more, should be left around outside diameter B and B’, in case the shaft wears in it’s journal bearings.
