Auburn Ball Bearing Introduces 2900 Series Bearing

MACEDON, NY (March 9, 2010) — Auburn Ball Bearing is proud to announce its newest product to their line of trusted thrust bearings, the 2900 series ball thrust bearing with nylon retainer. The 2900 series joins the long list of quality, MADE IN THE USA bearings produced by the company since 1898 in their facility in Upstate NY.

The metric dimension 2900 series is the interchange for an industry standard bearing. Sizes range from 10mm (0.394 inch) to 140mm (5.512 inch) inside diameter (ID) and 26mm (1.024 inch) to 185mm (7.283 inch) outside diameter (OD). This new line is DFAR-compliant and is available through your local bearing distributor.

Auburn Ball Bearing is known for its exclusive line of “V” or “Auburn Groove” bearings. This “Auburn Advantage” offers less friction, longer life, a full ball complement and greater load carrying capabilities, due to its raceway configuration. Auburn also makes line of Round Groove (RG) bearings and cylindrical roller thrust bearings. We now add the 2900 series to our repertoire of fine products to meet the growing needs of our broad range of customers.
